About
My name is Malcolm Weaver I specialise in handcrafted parlour guitars. In 1998 I studied classical guitar making at Newark and Sherwood College in Nottinghamshire (UK) under the tutelage of Roy Courtnall Summerfield and Tony Johnson, where I qualified with distinction. During this time I developed a particular interest in parlour steel-string guitars, inspired by the Martin 045 and 0045 models. I further experimented with woods, strutting methods and construction, striving for new sounds, culminating in a range of parlour guitars which have received praise from eminent musicians.
